My research explores the connections between food, the body, health, and identities in the everyday American experience and popular culture. My book project, based on my dissertation, examines how media representations of food, cooking, and dieting construct and negotiate masculinities in our current historical moment.

Here I collect some information that people in bioethics may find useful. Hi, I am Robert. I work at the International Centre for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities. At Tuebingen University and at the Ethics Centre. Until April 2015 I am a visiting researcher at the Fondation Brocher.
